WHAT TO
EXPECT

Rest and rejuvenation! Your treatment will begin with an assessment of your current state of balance so that your practitioner can determine the ideal herbs and/or oils to use during your treatment.

Many of the Ayurvedic treatments involve application of oil - please be prepared to be oily on your way home! Come in clothes that you don’t mind getting oily, and bring a towel, bandana, or old hat to cover your head after your treatment.

Most Ayurvedic treatments are deeply relaxing and purifying  and it is recommended to be gentle with yourself physically, mentally and emotionally - particularly after your session. This is especially true with Shirodhara and combined treatments as they can be very cleansing for the body as well as the mind, and have a deep effect on the nervous system.

To take your experience further, we recommend eating light, nourishing and easy to digest meals before and after your session, preferably home cooked with love! Kitchari is a wonderful option for the day of your treatment.

*Please note that many of our oils contain plants and seeds that may be contraindicated if you  have specific allergies. Let us know ahead of time so we can adjust your treatment.

Please contact us if you have any additional questions, we look forward to seeing you!

Please allow 24 hours notice if you are unable to keep your appointment.
